Left Florida Today

At Eagles Roost

At Eagles Roost

We really hated to leave Mom’s place today.  Neither of us wants to head home yet.

We’re in one of our favorite stopping over places tonight, Eagles Roost in Lake Park.   We couldn’t afford to stay here long, but it’s nice for one night.

We plan to take our time getting home.  Will probably stop somewhere else tomorrow night.  Unfortunately the weather is turning cooler, but it shouldn’t be cold for a few more days.

Today’s photographs are of the picturesque Spanish moss that so captivates me.  And a couple of photos of our Sheba girl.  Sunny needs to be groomed so badly, I’ll wait to post more photos of him!  🙂

  1. Great picture of your brightly shining home framed by the mystical spanish moss!
    Boohoo about leaving….
    Sheba is looking fine!

    • Fortunately you can’t see how badly the trailer needs washing in the picture!

Hopefully it won’t be too long before we can head out again.

Yes, our little Sheba is beautiful. One of Mom’s neighbors lost a 3 day old calf to a predator. I tried to talk him into a good herding dog, but he declined. 🙂

  2. Sheba, will find a good home.
Like your one nighter spot looks so cozy. I know I never want to return home either.

    • Jo, I’m confident we will find wonderful home for Sheba. It may take a while, but it will happen.

We are taking our time about getting home. Going to squeeze in an extra couple of days camping. 🙂
