I don’t know where this rush of energy that I’m feeling today came from!
I’m getting ready to vacuum the house, mop floors, then will start on the camper valances.
I decided not to do pleated valances. I’ll just do gathered ones. I decided that when I realized I’ll probably want to redo the camper in a whole new color scheme in a couple of years. And the gathered ones are so much faster to make!

/ February 4,I’ll be interested to see how you attach the valances. I bought some fabric to make valances but am having a difficult time coming up with a way to attach them to the blind header. Or attach them, period.
By the way, I love what you’re doing with the interior or your Casita.

/ February 4,Marsha, I got my ideas for how to attach the valances from someone else on either the Casita Forum or Fiberglass RV forum. Can’t remember which. I’ll post pictures when I get to that stage.
I’m glad you love the decor. I’m sure some of the guys must think I am nuts, but to me it’s like a mini home, so that’s how I’m treating it!

/ February 4,I love what you have done also. I like the mix of stripe and floral and the colors are so soothing. Will be waiting to see the valances too.

/ February 5,Looks good. If I ever get a Casita, I’d like it to be more homey.

/ February 5,That’s what it’s all about, Carla… making the camper fit YOUR ideas of what it should be.
Hope you get a Casita. You will love it. They are the best little campers in the world — not that I’m prejudiced or anything!
